“A great getaway with friends!” Cottage was absolutely beautiful with beautiful views. Highly recommend staying here. - Mr Potten, October 2020 “A wonderful week away in a beautiful location.” The cottage is well equipped, spacious and nicely decorated. Within walking distance of the local village, which has a shop and pub. A little further along you can find the Bala Lake Railway. Weather was perfect for September, which meant many an evening spent in the hot tub, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, and the sheep paying us a visit to the fence! Kitchen has everything you needed to cook for a large group, we even did Sunday dinner from scratch! Heating wasn’t on when we stayed, but house soon warmed up with log burner, and we found we didn’t need the heating. Hot water plentiful and shower pressure was great. Being very rural it was great for stargazers. Plenty of activities nearby. We caught the train up Snowdon, walked to the summit and back down. White water rafting just down the road was exhilarating, as was the GYG Karting, again not too far away. For a first time visit to Wales we said we would definitely visit again. Only thing that was missing was an iron at the cottage which would have been handy, although we managed without. From sitting by the fire in the evening to using the hot tub and going for lovely country walks this place is the ultimate cottage for a family/friends gathering.
